🚛 DISTRICT 3 NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN UP PROGRAM 🚛
Today, Sunday, I visited the neighborhoods where we placed our roll-off dumpsters and was pleased to see so many residents actively participating in cleaning their homes, yards, and surrounding areas.
The response has been outstanding, and many of the dumpsters are already filling up thanks to the efforts of our residents. Your efforts help keep our neighborhoods clean, safe, and beautiful for all.
A special thank you to the City of McAllen staff and the Keep McAllen Beautiful team for their hard work and partnership in making this program possible.
Together, we are making District 3 an even better place to live.

BEFORE & AFTER: VINE STREET IMPROVEMENTS
Another example of your City government at work when you call 311.
Residents brought concerns about the deteriorating condition of Vine Street heading toward Nikki Rowe High School. After reviewing the area and working with City staff, repairs have now been completed, improving safety and driving conditions for students, parents, school staff, and residents.
✔️ Damaged pavement repaired
✔️ Smoother and safer roadway. to Nikki Rowe High School

Today was a historic moment for the City of McAllen and District 3. Through the partnership between the Dallas Stars, the City of McAllen, and McAllen Parks & Recreation, a dream became a reality with the opening of the first hockey facility of its kind right here in McAllen. 🏒⭐🙌
This is more than just a recreational space it’s an investment in our youth, families, and community. Proud to see McAllen and District 3 continue creating opportunities that improve quality of life for everyone. ❤️🏡✨

Last week we celebrated the amazing mothers, grandmothers, and women in our community at the Las Palmas Community Center Mother’s Day Breakfast. 🌸💖
It was a beautiful morning filled with laughter, music, bingo, karaoke, good food, and great company. Most of all, it was special seeing so many families and friends come together to honor the women who do so much for all of us every day.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible and to all the mothers for the love, strength, and kindness you bring to our community. 🌷
