We hope our previous gas-saving tips have been useful. Here are three more you can use to save yourself some money at the pump:
- Avoid heavy loads: Storing unnecessary items in your car will lower your fuel economy. An extra 100 pounds can decrease mileage by 2 percent!
- Use apps to find affordable gas: Apps like Waze or GasBuddy can help you find the cheapest gas along your route.
- Join a gas loyalty program: Most gas stations offer rewards programs to help you save at the pump.

- Combine errands: The less you drive, the less gas you use. Do your best to combine errands when possible and use more efficient routes.
- Don't accelerate or brake hard: Aggressive driving will ultimately decrease your fuel economy. Drive safe and save money at the same time!
