The Multimedia Ministry at BT McAllen carries the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually- driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media. We also provide support to the other ministries of the church utilizing digital and electronic media as an outreach too. Events and services are made available for online viewing via our website, our new BT App and on iTunes.

Let’s get one thing straight, we totally don’t have it all figured out and we are by no means experts. Our hope is to serve the local church, creatives, production and technical artists with any resources that can help you along the way.

MEET THE CREW
Listen, I am not techie at all and troubleshooting is not favorite thing ever. I’ve been on a production team since I was in high school and I still get nervous each time I serve.
However, I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve God and the local church alongside my BT Production Family. Being a part of a team that serves me quality coffee, keeps me accountable and checks in on my well being has brought me so much joy.
I came to BT 5 years ago and as an introvert it was really hard to find community in the church. I’m so humbled to serve in this team that has given me the confidence to call BT my home. I guess in a weird way, I continue to serve in the production crew because I am just so grateful to God for everything that comes with being connected to this team. Serving in this team has just been another way of God showing me His goodness.

Commit to serving your community with your gifts to advance the Kingdom of God.
This past weekend we launched a digital version of our Creative Labs. The theme we kicked them off with was Digital Media. Students were able to register and apply for a spot. Courses will include learning the basics of: photography, social media, graphic design, and working with mixed media. Students will also have a digital project due at the end of the lab. Our hope was that even in a season where it seems difficult to meet in person that we not let that hinder our ability to train and equip next gen leaders and those looking for a place to serve their local church and their community.

MEET THE CREW
I started going to Church several years ago because I was having a hard time in my life, honestly I didn’t know where else to turn. I had been to Church with my Mom as a teenager and young adult, but I had not really attended on my own just because I felt lead to. So once I started going regularly and became more involved, I started to see the positive effect God was having in my life. I now attend, not because I have to, but because I GET to...and serving on the Creative Team is something I do with honor for God, to give back to the place that has brought me so much fulfillment. BT Church - Alice is a growing Church and I have had the pleasure of being there since day 1. I love my Church family and will continue to serve graciously 🙏🏼
