The mission of The Jam for Vets (JFV) Project is to enrich the lives of veterans in the VA hospital system by creating and executing a self-funded, comprehensive Music Services Program.
What an amazing day we had at the Seymour Celebration held at Seymour Lake Park this past Saturday, July 7th. Thank you to the very talented musicians or Dark Eyed Dreamers, Squatch, In The Blue Jazz Ensemble and Misspent Youth for donating your time and talents to this worthy cause!

Hi everyone! We've been inactive lately. That is more of a function of how much time I have available to drive events and activity. Having said that, we have some cool events coming up this summer. Our loyal and dedicated volunteers SoulQuest (a fantastic band!) are planning to perform once again at the Detroit VA Medical Center for their annual in-patient picnic, and we have several bands signing up under the leadership of Kevin Cooper to play the Seymour Summer Festival in Oxford, MI on Saturday July 9th. Please come support us and watch the best fireworks in Oakland County! Last but certainly not least, Steve Munafo is going to lead a reunion performance of the Victory Band at the Fox Theater on July 11th! More details to come.

This looks like a great opportunity for Veterans. And, I trust the person who's in the flyer. Barbie has been one of our most productive and dedicated volunteers over the last few years.
