Realize to Act volunteers had an amazing time at Mason XLP’s Jobs and Internships Fair this week! There, volunteers had the chance to spread the organization’s message to students and share applications for our volunteer, staff, and student liaison roles.

A huge congratulations to our Fall 2025 interns! They have learned and collaborated while supporting Realize to Act in grant writing, development, community engagement, digital strategy, web design, and graphic design this semester. We are incredibly grateful for everything they've helped make possible and to be part of their journeys. At Realize to Act, youth-centered service means empowering students to show up for their community while developing in their fields of expertise -- and we're inspired everyday by what our team dreams up together.

At our tables and booths, we love to ask the same question: what sparks you? Asking community members this question brings Realize to Act's core to our conversations, drawing on a heart of community generosity and service. Everyone has their own motivators -- frequent hits are family, gratitude, and kindness for the sake of being kind -- which guide them in whichever way they give back to their community. But at it's core, this question reminds us why we serve: we care about each other. Everyday generosity comes from each and every one of us.
