SUSTAINED

"For the LORD sustained me." Psalms 3:5

The original Greek for our word sustained is camak. Its orginal meaning is conveyed in english is "stayed or refreshed". The reason that is so importantk is when you consider the first half of the verse is... "I laid me down and slept; I awaked"

Consider the verse in Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee" not even in our unconscious rest. We can expect his presence to be with us while resting. He is the type friend that watches over us, always, unendingly. He stays and he refreshes us. That is how he sustains us.

- He Stays through our fatigue
- He Stays through our injury
- He Stays through our misery
- He Stays through or difficult times

And all the while he refreshes us and renews our strength. When we need rest he is there. Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Count on him to sustain you when you lie down and when you rise up.

Why hasn't Jesus returned yet?
God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change. 2 Peter 3:9 | MSG.

Hatred is not just the opposite of love, but a lack of love, which leads to an absence of love. The further we get away from God, the further we get away from Love.

"Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love."

Jesus said "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you"
