A heartfelt thank you to the 22 amazing volunteers who joined us for our Garden Restoration Day!

With support from the Martinez Community Foundation, this event—part of the Meet Me Martinez Native Flora Education Initiative—brought together a wonderful mix of community members, Alhambra High School students, local families, Climate Action Committee fellows, and volunteers from Martinez Refining Company. Together, you helped restore and replant our native garden space at the MUSD Community Garden, making a lasting impact on our local environment.

A special thank you to Sierra Reinertson and our partners at for sharing their knowledge and helping make the day so meaningful. We’re so grateful for this community and the energy you bring to the garden!
