Still working on it but 5 months from start of a 3000 sq ft gut renovation to move in -floors and doors in , all trim walk in closet , kitchen and another bath and paint done is something that takes a village of people . Everything from packing all the furniture and personal belongings getting into storage , having family members living there during construction and keeping them in a bubble from all the dust and debris . Coordinating all subcontractors so work can be done efficiently - keeping them in sequence , wearing a tool belt swinging a hammer , While watching kids in the morning and afternoons , walking the dog , cycling thru my own DBC 🍀 employees i had probably 10 working under me at one time or another during this project . Great friends that donated time to help with the work , maintaining my relationships with my loved ones , blood , sweat , complaining , laughing , crying losing my mind and praying to God to get me thru this 🙏🏻 he always has . We won't even talk about the expenses and patience that Lauren and I have drained the savings of bank and spirit lol🤪🤪🤪🤪 💰 💰 oh boy the money burns quick , and without Laurens time and research with design and materials which is very consuming the finish product would be as tastelss as flour if it were up to me 🤣🤣 To have Us all under one roof where i can be there for all my family and have a room for Ashtynn of her own when she comes over with us it was all worth it . And as much as it would kill me i would do it again in a second , the reward outweighs to pain always for family ❤️
