Top End Speed 🏃💨

“Feed the cats” is a method used by track and strength coaches that makes athletes faster by tracking top end speed.

I’ve recently finished my first season as a MHS track & field coach and used this method over the course of 6 weeks by laser timing the sprinter’s 10 meter flys.

The proof is in the results. The team average went up to 19mph in just 6 WEEKS.

This data-driven training allows coaches and athletes to visually see what works and what doesn’t from week to week.

It’s safe to say that I will be continuing this method for the rest of athletes in the future!

It’s Open 24‘s Birthday!! 🎉

Exactly one year ago today we started Open 24 Strength LLC as a brand with merely a logo, an Instagram account and a passion. At the time, I was still working as a trainer at a local gym and didn’t open a facility for another six months.

I’m so grateful for the growth we’ve seen in just one short year and can’t wait to see where this one takes us.

This venture is just another reminder to invest in yourself or no one else will! 🙏🏼
