Influential Drones

Last week team members from Influential Drones had the opportunity to visit Parkway Elementary School in Mount Laurel NJ, to introduce students to the exciting world of drones, aviation, robotics, and emerging technology.
One of the best parts of outreach like this is helping students realize that technology careers are not just something they see online or in movies. These are real opportunities happening right here in New Jersey and across the country.
A huge thank you to the teachers, staff, and students at Parkway Elementary for welcoming team members into the classroom to inspire future aviators of tomorrow.

We’re grateful to be mentioned in Vertical Space Magazine’s article, “Building the Drone Workforce of Tomorrow” by Sharon Rossmark.
The article highlights an important point: the future of the drone industry requires more than Part 107 certification. It requires practical training, regulatory understanding, safety discipline, and mission-specific experience.
That has always been Influential Drones’ focus. We help public safety, government, education, and commercial operators build responsible drone programs grounded in safety, compliance, and real-world operational readiness.
The drone workforce of tomorrow is not just learning to fly. It is learning how to operate with purpose, accountability, and confidence.

We are 30 days away from FIFA World Cup 2026™ game start. As the excitement builds this graphic is an important reminder that safety and security extend beyond the stadium gates and into the airspace above them. The FAA has designated World Cup stadiums and surrounding event spaces as strict “No Drone Zones,” and unauthorized drone flights in these areas are a serious federal violation. The FAA says these restrictions are being put in place to help protect players, fans, staff, and the broader event environment, and the agency is specifically warning travelers not to bring drones to stadiums or official World Cup events.
For drone operators, this is not a gray area. During major events like the World Cup, the FAA uses Temporary Flight Restrictions and other airspace controls to secure the area, and even experienced remote pilots with normal authorizations cannot assume they are cleared to fly during active restriction windows. Federal authorities have warned that unauthorized operations can lead to civil penalties up to $75,000, drone confiscation, and possible criminal charges, with the FBI and partner agencies using detection and mitigation capabilities to address unlawful activity.
Help protect the match and protect the fans. Leave your drone at home, respect the No Drone Zones, and always check official FAA airspace restrictions and TFR information before flying anywhere near a host city during the tournament. The focus belongs on the pitch, not on an avoidable drone enforcement action.
