n and even though I got a long with Denae's own dogs , her dogs were not happy I was a part of their house hold. She had a little Pom that was a very special needs puppy and he is most definitely a mommy baby and with me also trying to be with her at all times it just was not working out. Plus her older 2 papillons were not happy I was trying to be a part of the family. Her oldest papillon Haley was actually not wanting to eat . So things were quite upside down and Denae knew she just had to give all this to God and she prayed for answers from both God and Deanna, "please what do I do?" Then a couple days later she found Promised Land Dachshund Sanctuary and called and talked to Connie. Connie told Denae she had no openings and could not take me . Then Denae was ok, well guess it was not meant to be. She was crying and asking Deanna what does she need to do, please help me ! Then 2 days later Connie contacted her and said she could not believe it she had an opening and could take me in. She started crying again and knew that this was all going to be ok. So we made plans to drive to Midland/Odessa and take me to the sanctuary. We met with Connie and talked with her and met some of her dachshund kids . She explained to Connie how extremely hard this was for her and she promised her that I was going to be just fine. As Denae left she felt at ease and that Deanna was with us the whole drive taking me to Midland. Connie kept her updated on me and how he was doing and that I was ready for adoption. Now my new mommy drove over 28 hours to get me and I'm in my new loving home with my new mommy and daddy and new sister Moxie. I know prayers were answered and that Deanna was the one that guided me and Denae through this whole process. Thank you for following me and thank you Denae and Connie for all you did for me. I will be just fine here in Illinois. Watch and see.
