God is good. Landen Scott and I moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 2015, and by the grace of God, we ended up in this little oasis known as Marina del Rey.

I’ve now lived in the Marina for almost eight years. Dream With Me Productions started here. I published my first five books here. I’ve tasted both success and failure here. I lived through a pandemic here. I grew up in a real way here. This place is my home.

So it’s an honor and privilege to have my debut feature film premiere in a city that’s so close to my heart and that's been so good to me.

Big S/O to the extraordinary Angelique Calvillo (.calvillo) who poured herself into this project and produced a sublime score and soundtrack. It’s safe to say she exceeded my expectations, and I had high expectations.

Meeting Ms. Leigh was a labor of love and I’m grateful to be able to share some of the fruit of that labor with you all!

Two things were immediately apparent to me when I first heard this song.

1.) It perfectly captured the essence of the story I wanted to tell.

2.) I needed Angelique to score my film.
