Yesterday humbled me. 🌧️💔

The weather was so bad my tent was almost gone. I take full accountability because I made the decision to set up, even tho I DID CHECK THE WEATHER IT DIDNT SAY THUNDERSTORMS OR HEAVY RAIN. IT SAID 10 PERCENT CHANCE. but moments like that remind me why I’m working so hard to get a food truck.

People see the finished plate, but they don’t see the work behind it. loading tents, tables, smokers, chafers, sternos, Cambros, coolers, prep, cooking, and serving hundreds of people while hoping the weather cooperates. It’s a lot, but I keep showing up because I know people believe in my food.

I’m not looking for sympathy.. I’m asking for support. A food truck would completely change the way I’m able to serve this community and help me keep going no matter what the weather throws at me.
