Rachel Weisberg is a Managing Attorney at Equip for Equality where she litigates individual and systemic disability discrimination cases under Titles I, II and III of the ADA.

She also serves as the program manager for the Illinois Client Assistance Program which advocates and provides assistance for people in their pursuit of programs and services provided for within the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Prior to Equip for Equality, Rachel worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Bureau and Disability Rights Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General's Office, a labor and employment associate at Sidley Austin LLP, and a law clerk for Chief Judge James G. Carr in the Northern District of Ohio.

Before law school, Rachel worked as an ADA technical assistance specialist at the Mid-Atlantic ADA Center, and during law school interned with the Disability Rights Section of the U.S. Department of Justice. She is a 2008 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, and a 2003 graduate of the University of Michigan.

Weisberg is a highly respected attorney with a strong commitment to disability rights and accessibility. She has dedicated her legal career to advocating for individuals with disabilities and fighting against discrimination.

As a disability rights lawyer, Weisberg specializes in representing clients who rely on service animals for assistance. She understands the important role that service animals play in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and ensuring their equal access to public spaces, housing, and other essential services.

Weisberg works diligently to protect the rights of service animal handlers and combat discrimination they may face. She actively engages in legal advocacy, taking on cases that challenge unfair treatment and advocating for the proper enforcement of laws that protect the rights of disabled individuals.
