Another heavy hitter Civic in the books.

This Type R came in for more than just power it left with a full transformation. Outfitted with a VIS Racing carbon fiber hood, APR GT250 wing, and Gram Lights 57CR wheels, it now looks every bit as aggressive as it performs.

For the powerplant, the client chose the 27Won Kuro+ turbocharger, striking a balance between quick spool and stronger top end gains. The car made an impressive 585hp, pushing the turbocharger to its limit. While it does start to lose a bit of breath up top, boost comes on smoothly around 3500 rpm, making for a very usable and responsive powerband.

Supporting mods include a Full Race high pressure fuel pump paired with Hondata 2000cc injectors, delivering the fuel it needs while maintaining near OEM drivability at idle. While we were in there, we also performed a carbon cleaning service to keep everything running at its best.

To handle the added power, we installed an XClutch twin disc setup with rigid organic discs. Rated for up to 890 ft lbs of torque, it offers impressive holding capability while engaging smoothly like a sprung single disc, with zero chatter.
