2024 tax filing season set for January 29; IRS continues to make improvements to help taxpayers | Internal Revenue Service IR-2024-04, Jan. 8, 2024 — The Internal Revenue Service today announced Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, as the official start date of the nation’s 2024 tax season when the agency will begin accepting and processing 2023 tax returns.

Did you receive your MN Tax Rebate? If not they just reissued checks for those who did not cash them or receive them. Also please remember to bring your 1099-Misc from MN to your tax appointment.

Attention one-time tax rebate payment recipients: While the rebate is not taxable for Minnesota tax purposes, the IRS has determined it is taxable on the federal return.
