We appreciate the opportunity to hear from TxDOT on upcoming improvements to the Grand Parkway and what it means for growth, accessibility, and the future of Alvin and surrounding communities.

We’re excited to be part of a rapidly growing area and look forward to serving Manvel and the surrounding region.

This week marked a major milestone for our community as we officially broke ground on Manvel Emergency Center — Manvel’s first 24-hour freestanding emergency room, conveniently located near Sonic on SH 6.

During the ceremony, we reflected on something simple but powerful: when emergencies happen, access matters. Peace of mind matters. Having high-quality emergency care close to home can make all the difference in some of life’s most critical moments.

Our very own Mayor Dan Davis and Kristin Kappler, Facility Director of the upcoming Manvel ER (projected to open December 2026), were featured on Click2Houston for stepping up in a big way for our community. 🙌

Mayor Dan kicked it off with a $5,000 personal donation — and Manvel ER matched it with another $5,000! ❤️

That spark ignited over $20,000 in donations, all going toward $100 H-E-B gift cards for families who need help TODAY. This is what community is all about. 💚
