☀️ As the Texas heat settles in, our need for volunteers grows even more. 🐾

When temperatures climb like this, every dog in our care stays safely indoors. That means space becomes limited, and every helping hand makes a difference.

We’re also hoping to give our incredible core volunteers a chance to catch their breath. They show up day after day, week after week, without ever asking for a break. They do it because they love these animals. We would love nothing more than to have every shift fully staffed so they can take a well-deserved day off now and then.

Whether you can commit to one regular shift or simply want to learn more, we’d love to welcome you to our rescue family.

🐶 Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🌙 Evening Shift: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
📅 Monday through Sunday

If dogs had theme songs, Loretta’s would start with fireworks. She’s bold, hilarious, full of personality, and has enough s***k to keep you smiling every single day.

But behind that spark is a story that should have never happened.

Loretta is Lynn’s sister. They came from the very same heartbreaking street where kindness was hard to find and survival was all they knew. We rescued Loretta while she was pregnant—just days before she gave birth. Instead of raising her babies in fear, she got to watch them grow up safe, loved, and cared for.

Now it’s Loretta’s turn.

While everyone else seems to be getting chosen, this incredible girl is still patiently waiting for someone to see what we’ve known all along… she’s absolutely amazing.
