We destroyed this Perfectly good shower.

At least it looks perfect....

This customer bought a new house, thought he got a good price, until he went to use the shower.

It looked great, so what could go wrong right?

Except, every time he used the shower, his entire bedroom floor and bathroom floor would FLOOD.

The Flippers he bought the house from remodeled the shower.... but chose to save some money by skipping the waterproofing..

Many think tile is waterproof, looks pretty tight right?

Many tiles are not waterproof, not to mention, the grout between the tiles are rarely ever waterproof, they are actually porous.

So most showers, usable ones at least, have a thick waterproof membrane at the bottom 6 inches or so that prevents water from going into your bedroom...

This customer desperately needed to take dominion, to take control over his space, and he did exactly that.

Now he can shower in peace.

Honestly, I hadn’t seen hail cause this much siding damage before — it completely blew my mind.

But that’s where Dominion Build Group came in. We restored this home back to its former glory and made it tougher by adding Tyvek home wrap for long-term protection against the weather and years ahead.

Same room, Wallpaper removed, walls skimmed smooth with drywall joint compound, repainted and refinished with new fixtures. Simple things can make a MASSIVE difference.

For this Customer, every time they walked into the old house their parents owned, it was a mix of fond memories but outdated decor. They wanted to make it their own.

So we did just that. My next few posts will be showing this major renovation as it unfolded over months. Here is the master Bath.
