Trailer Safety Week Tip: Don’t Forget Your Safety Chains!

Safety chains are your trailer's last line of defense if the coupler ever disconnects from the hitch. Taking a few extra seconds to hook them up correctly can help prevent serious damage, accidents, and injuries.

✅ Cross your chains underneath the coupler to create a cradle
✅ Leave enough slack for turning, but not so much they drag on the ground
✅ Secure chain hooks directly to the tow vehicle frame or approved attachment points
