vanilla luxury solid lotion. shea butter, beeswax, vanilla. you warm it in your hands and it melts into the skin, no bottle, no water, no junk. heat and sun and chlorine dry you out faster than you notice in july. this puts it back.

packing days move different in summer.

riley and michael in it, boxes lined up, orders going out as steady as we can move them through a host migration that has made the website side harder than usual. we are honest about that. customer service has been slower than we want during the move.

the long days are starting to turn back.
we passed the longest day a couple weeks ago and now, quiet and slow, the light is leaning the other way. you won't feel it yet. evenings are still long, the heat is still climbing. but it has turned.
the old people watched this without a calendar. they read it in the plants, the birds, the angle of the sun. nothing in summer feels like it is winding down. but the wheel is already moving. it always is.
