Last week, I disappeared! Found the perfect cabin getaway in a Colorado ghost town 👻 with the most beautiful hiking trails. ⛰ It's good to reset! 🥾🥾

Thanks to the superhero in my life ~ my dad ~ we were able to upgrade the floor of Mr. Bridge's doggie condo. He even looks like he's smiling! HaHa. Now he needs some hanging dog-safe flower baskets! 🐾 🌼 🐾 🌺

There's something calming about the wind turbines. On my way through Colorado this past weekend, I enjoyed the view. Isn't that what we are supposed to do...take our time and enjoy this life? 🥾💖🥾

My goal for 2022 is to do something new every month. Welcome to my April Adventure ~ The Incline at Manitou Springs. It is NO JOKE! Started with a smile that quickly turned into "THIS IS A BAD IDEA!" Once I reached the top, the smile returned because..."Thank goodness THAT'S over!" At step #2000, I was optimistic until I looked up at the remaining 768 steps. But I DID IT! There were a few other "something news" to end the month...sitting solo in a bar/brewery enjoying the local High Ground IPA (appropriately named) to celebrate my victory & my first soak in a clawfoot tub to end the day. Cheers to solo adventures! 🥾🥾
