Prof. David Simmons Wood, Director of Early-Music Ensembles

Since 1966, the choirs has been selected thirty-five times to appear before state, regional and national conferences of the American Choral Directors Association, Music Educators National Conference, National Association for Music Education, and the National Collegiate Choral Organization. The K-State Choirs have worked with notable conductors and composers such as Jake Naverud, Jeffrey Murdock, Stacy V. Gibbs, Jerry McCoy, Richard Bjella, Robert Shaw, John Alldis, Roger Wagner, and Aaron Copland. International performance and travel are an important aspect to the choral program at K-State. International performance tours have included: Paris, Vienna, Berlin, London, Salzburg, Wales, England, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, Rome, Florence, Venice, and Paris.
