Night access in hits differently. 🌃
Overnight waterproofing and glass panel sealing at Columbus Circle using our 250-ft operated aerial lift.
Nearly 170 ft above street level.
Approximately 75 ft of side outreach.
Right along the curved upper façade overlooking one of NYC’s busiest intersections.
This is why many complex façade operations happen overnight:
less traffic, fewer disruptions, cooler conditions, and safer access in dense urban environments.
Our basket-mounted 70W halogen work lights kept the work zone fully illuminated high above Columbus Circle throughout the operation.
Because at this level, access is not just about height.
It’s about precision. Positioning. Planning.
And the operator behind the controls.

In New York, access isn’t given. It’s engineered.
This project in Harlem required inspections across multiple elevations of the property — each with different constraints, limited positioning options, and active city traffic.
From the outside, it looks like a standard lift setup.
In reality, the entire operation depended on horizontal reach.
The lift stays where the street allows. The boom does the rest.
With extended side outreach, we were able to reach across setbacks, work around trees, and access upper sections of the façade.
Behind that reach:
Coordinated street closures across multiple streets
DOT permits secured and scheduled around cleaning time
Traffic control in active intersections
Limited positioning due to trees, parked vehicles, and building offsets
Multiple setup points to fully cover the façade
This is where most projects slow down.
Not because of the work at height — but because of everything happening at street level.
Alpha Platforms’ operated rentals are built around that reality.
We don’t just provide a lift.
We handle the logistics around it, delivering an all-inclusive service — so the crew in the air can focus on the inspection, not the process.
Because in a city like New York, ex*****on depends on two things:
The right equipment — and the control to use it properly.

Telecom sites aren’t uniform.
They’re different every time.
This one — antenna troubleshooting on a water tower in Philadelphia, PA.
Circular structure. Elevation. And setup limited to one side.
The rest of the structure had to be accessed from that position.
That’s where geometry matters.
Up, over, and around the tower - reaching across the structure from a single setup.
For the crew, that means working at arm’s length —
from a stable basket, without having to think about how to get there.
No extra moves.
No time lost adjusting position.
Because in telecom, efficiency isn’t about moving faster — it’s about how consistently you can adapt from one site to the next.
