On Saturday March 9th took our final bow. Current dancers alongside former company dancers, board members, lighting designers, choreographers, and more joined together for one final bow. Bitter Sweet felt like the theme as we approached this final show. After this show we were able to celebrate all together with some fun and emotional speeches and delicious food. Over the next month we will have many thank yous and more fun memories to share. Thank you for everything! 14 years in New York is pretty spectacular.

Thank you to the audience members who shared these moments with us!

What if I feel stuck?
What if giving up is easier?
Keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, said the Road.
What if I can’t do it?
You can, said the Road.
How do you know?
Because you have come this far, said the Road.
I said to the Road, Where do you lead?
The Road said, Be a leader and find out.
-Cleo Wade

Spark Movement Collective presents The Road, an original dance performance for all ages inspired by Cleo Wade's book, What the Road Said, illustrated by Lucie de Moyencourt. This show takes the whole family on a journey as it follows one child as they work through life’s challenging questions and moments. The audience will have a chance to interact and share what they think it means to be brave while helping to create movements for the characters at the end. The Road helps us all see how we can walk our own paths and bring those around us together with love, peace, and patience.

Designed for audiences of all ages, we invite you to bring your families to The Town School on Saturday, March 9 (at 2pm or 4pm EDT). Today!
