Kate Spiesman, as Ariel, sings in the Manhattan Arts Center’s MACademy youth theater production of “The Little Mermaid Jr.” The musical is based on Disney’s 1989 animated film where Ariel, a mermaid, dreams of the world above and even gives up her voice to find love. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.
