Sorry Darryl for joking about the lack of rain during race 2 (might as well have done a rain dance in saying that - oops haha) but gosh do these photos show the true grit, determination, and absolute endurance that is hare scramble racing. These guys and gals put the DIRT in dirtbike this past weekend.

Even if you have already looked through what was uploaded Monday and Tuesday please look again! With two photographers, photos are uploaded in installments so you might find some more of your riders that weren't there before!

Sometimes we get asked why two photographers would attend a single race. Or why there is an option to hire two photographers for a portrait session. Wouldn’t it be easier to divide and conquer?

In some ways that is true. Taking on more sessions between the two of us does mean more availability. However, Zoë and I each have a very different view through the lens. This often times leads us to taking different angles of the same pose or being able to be at different locations during a race. Getting those uniques aspect from each of us can often times tell the whole story more than just one photographer on our own.

While, yes, we do often have our own clients and single photographer sessions, we will always believe that having two photographers is ideal! During editing, it is so special to see how the other viewed a particular location. We strive to produce art that captures the world in diverse ways.
