TM Draft Horses and Carriage Rides

This week, we visited the Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University to complete the health certificates needed for a couple upcoming competition. Huge thank you to the amazing veterinarians, assistants, and veterinary students who helped take such great care of our team and made the process smooth and stress-free.

These horses may be big, but their hearts are even bigger — and we can’t wait to see them represent TM Draft Horses in the ring today and tomorrow at the Iowa State Fairgrounds and later this month at the Royal KC!

Over five tons of health certificates were obtained in our equine services unit this week! These gentle giants are heading to a competition soon and needed the required paperwork. ✅🐴😄Our veterinary students on the equine field service rotation were able to help facilitate the process. We wish them luck!

History Alive 2026! From 10am-4pm as History comes Alive at Spring Valley Historic Site.

Today was “Bring Your Farm Equipment to School” and Keenan understood the assignment. He drove Dylan and Lincoln in with a horse-drawn forecart like a true Kansas boy. 🚜🐴 (Who needs a pickup when you’ve got horsepower?!)

Good morning, friends. Due to the extremely cold temperatures and for the safety and well-being of our horses and drivers, we are canceling carriage rides for tonight, Sunday 12/28/25.

We truly appreciate everyone who planned to bundle up and join us, and we’re sorry for the change of plans — but keeping our team (four-legged and two-legged!) safe always comes first. ❤️🥶🐴
