Celebrate National Prairie Day with a creative family adventure at the Museum of Art + Light! Join us for Picasso on the Prairie on Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy free hands-on art activities throughout the museum, explore the beauty of the Flint Hills through a Picasso-inspired lens, and create your own masterpiece. It's a fun, interactive experience for all ages and a perfect way to spend the day together as a family.

A big thank you to our local Hy-Vee for offering a FREE breakfast for veterans and active military on Wednesday, May 20 from 6:00–10:00 a.m. as part of the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize and thank the men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation. In addition, Hy-Vee is also offering free coffee every Wednesday in May!
