Today, Convention and Visitor's Bureaus (CVBs) and chambers from across North Dakota gathered at the NDAREC Cooperative Center in Mandan for a North Dakota Travel Industry Alliance meeting. Attendees discussed tourism trends, visitor engagement and opportunities to promote North Dakota's communities and attractions.

Thank you to everyone who joined us July 8 in Maddock for a rural development information session serving the Benson County area.

The event brought together county and community leaders, nonprofit organizations, small businesses and tribal representatives to explore opportunities for strengthening rural communities. Presentations from the NDAREC Rural Development Services team, Northern Plains Electric Cooperative General Manager Seth Syverson and North Central Planning Council Executive Director Sandy Shively highlighted resources and strategies for business development, succession planning, community projects and funding opportunities.

Our next rural development information session is scheduled for Aug. 18 in Rolla, serving the Rolette County area. Registration details will be announced soon.
