🌡️ EXTREME HEAT WARNING 🌡️

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for our area. Dangerous heat and humidity are expected, creating a significant risk of heat-related illnesses.

Please take precautions to stay safe:
☀️ Stay indoors in air-conditioned buildings whenever possible.
💧 Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty.
👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing.
🚫 Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day.
👶👴 Check on older adults, young children, neighbors, and anyone without access to air conditioning.
🐾 Make sure pets have plenty of fresh water and shade, and never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.

Heat-related illnesses can develop quickly. If you or someone else experiences confusion, loss of consciousness, a high body temperature, or stops sweating, call 911 immediately.
