I photographed at Fastrax BMX this week. The storm was coming and they delayed the finals. When they started up after the thunder and lightning was gone I get this great light with the clouds in the background. Layn

I have a new special project photographing race shops with their drivers. One of my first shoots was Bill Hultberg’s shop. I have known Bill for a few years (okay, 30 years). Bill loves his racing almost as much as he loves visiting with people. With help from RJR, his sponsor, Bill has married those passions and is getting other people into racing which I think is very cool. Layn

Friends of mine bought the Classic Rock Coffee & Kitchen - Mandan. They have a couple of boys who are going to help out with their new business. What a cool lesson to teach your kids. I shot an image of their youngest son behind the counter looking like he’s ready to run the place now.
