For the first time in 25 years, KC’s Rib Shack is not taking home “Best of the Best BBQ” from Hippo Press.

And honestly… it’s about time someone new stepped up. Its a weight of my shoulders. Lol.

Huge congratulations to Ben and his crew over at 603bbq on the win. What you guys are doing is legit — great product, great energy, and clearly people are loving it. Much respect!

We’ve been doing this for nearly 30 years, and if there’s one thing we know — competition doesn’t kill you… it makes you better.
