Congratulations to Noah Baldassario, a fifth-grade student at Bennett Academy in Manchester and winner of his division in the Lt. Governor's Computing Challenge (LGCC) 2026!
Inspired by the challenge's "Coding for Good" theme, Noah set out to make a difference in his community by supporting the work of his mom and her team at MACC Charities. Wanting to help families facing food insecurity, Noah independently developed an app that supports MACC's mission by making it easier for donors to contribute to the organization's work.
With just the click of a button, supporters can connect with MACC and help provide the financial resources needed to continue offering basic emergency needs assistance to individuals and families in need. Noah's innovative solution demonstrates how technology can be used to create meaningful community impact.
We are incredibly proud of Noah for taking this project seriously, identifying a need, and creating a solution entirely on his own. His creativity, compassion, and dedication to helping others earned him top honors in his division and serve as an inspiring example of how young people can make a real difference.
Way to go, Noah!
