1950s Napco Miss Cutie Pie = Vintage Charm
~Napco ( National Potteries Corporation) was founded in Ohio in 1938. As a heavy importer of post-war Japanese ceramics, Napco offered a variety of lines that entranced buyers. Many kitschy designs were popular with mid-century consumers. Collectible items were available to suit pretty much any home decor situation - walls, counters, coffee tables, serving pieces, planters, etc. The companies anthropomorphic animals, pixies, Victorian ladies, and exotic dancers among their angel sets & lady heads did very well in their time. Napco still remains one of the most collectible brands in secondary marketplaces.
