Lakeside Lanes opened on Friday, November 27, 1959 featuring 24 Brunswick Crown Imperial Lanes which met the highest standards of official bowling regulations. Ridged construction required that they be level to 40/1000ths of an inch. So precise that setting the wood alone required more than a months' time.
