Beyond Average Bowling

I am planning on practicing after a lesson tomorrow if anyone wants to join in. I’ll be starting practice at Silver lanes around 2:30 Saturday!

We are back from Junior Gold! The bowlers performed amazingly and almost everyone achieved their goals, whether that was qualifying for the advancer’s round, beating their personal best, meeting college coaches, or just enjoying the experience. The books are back open for individual coaching appointments! Special shoutout to our friends from the Professional Women's Bowling Association - PWBA who bowled their live tv stepladder infront of the kids (in a stadium!) as part of the opening ceremony!

Hi Everyone! Would anyone be interested in either a junior sport shot clinic or just a junior practice session this weekend? If so, would you rather Saturday or Sunday?

Hi everyone! Is there interest on a Junior Gold sport shot clinic this Saturday? We could start around 11:00. If you are interested, please respond with who will attend. If we get enough people I will schedule it with Silver Lanes.

One more week off from the sport shot clinic! I spoke to quite a few bowlers that need a break from tournaments so we are skipping this week! Silver Lsnes is changing to their summer hours so I will send out a poll tomorrow about potential times to have the clinic. Have a great week!!

Hi everyone! We are skipping the Sport Shot clinic this week. We have a lot of bowlers competing in the Pepsi State Tournament and want them to be fresh on Sunday! The clinic will resume on April 5th!

No Sport Shot Clinic this week everyone! Joe is bowling in States and Kevin is getting ready for to coach at the State Pepsi tournament on Sunday where most of our bowlers will be competing! Good luck to everyone who is bowling this weekend wherever you are competing!

This Saturday Coach Kevin and I will be running the Junior Gold Sport Shot Clinic again at HOF Silver Lanes! This week we will be bowling on the PBA Shark pattern, which will also be the pattern for this month’s DJBT. This will give the bowlers a chance to experience the difficult pattern and learn how ball motion is affected by 48 feet of oil. There might be a few Beyond Average Bowling goodies as well! The cost is $20 a bowler and we will start at 12:00 this Saturday. Let me know if you have any questions or let me know if you are interested!

Here are a couple of pictures from last Saturday’s Junior Gold sport shot clinic at Silver lanes. We will be hosting another one this Saturday starting at 12:00. The cost is $20 a junior. We will have two USBC Silver coaches working with the bowlers to help them understand the oil patter, ball motion and surface adjustment. We will also work on form. Message me for info or to let me know you will be there!

Hi everyone! This Saturday will another Junior Gold clinic hosted by Kevin Gemmell and myself. We will start around 12:00 saturday to hive everyone tome to get to the lanrs from leagues. This week we will continue working on form, spares, adjusting surface, and ball motion. We will be practicing on a very challenging sport pattern to help prepare bowlers for DJBT and Junior Gold. The cost is $20 a bowler.
