Looking to hire a carpenter. I own and run a small construction company doing high end home building. Attitude, manners and willingness to learn is more important than experience. Our small and committed crew of true craftsmen have been working together for many years, and would be great at teaching someone who is ambitious and willing to learn the trade. What a fun project this was. We originally built the bigger timber frame barn and the homeowner loved it so much we built a timber frame sugarhouse behind it. Locally sourced hemlock was used for the frame and my guys used the mortiser and chissels to carve out the frame.
