The new Baldwin Intermediate School will officially open in the Fall of 2017 and will accommodate a portion of the city's 5th grade students. Baldwin Intermediate shares a building with Baldwin Elementary School. The majority of the school is housed on the third level of the building which features grade 5/6 classrooms and extended learning spaces (ELAs). There is a Baldwin Intermediate cafeteria
