First match of the year and all my shots went off and into my target so that makes it a success! I forgot how well this rifle shoots this load with 107s and brass. If Malvern hadn't have been doing it's vertical wind thing, 600 could've been a fun score. Overall its just nice to get back into the swing of things... Hopefully next time I remember how to shoot my first string sitting and not panic when I look at my timer 😂
I was thinking about shooting my last of the year Saturday, and realized I didn't post the last match I shot.
Shooting the bolt gun has been a breathe of fresh air post-perry. Some decent scores coming easily has brought the fun back. Might have to work the bolt a bit more next year...We just won't talk about why my score was ten points lower than it should've been offhand for this last match but I can guarantee it wasn't a fault of You know their stuff is always working!
