💙 Save the Date – Meals with Meaning is coming to Saranac Lake! 💙

On Thursday, July 30, our community will come together for Meals with Meaning, a day dedicated to supporting the Backpack Program for the Saranac Lake Central School District.

Simply dine at one of our participating restaurants, and 20% of your dine-in or take-out purchase will be donated to the Fieldstone Foundation's Backpack Program, helping provide nutritious weekend meals to local children experiencing food insecurity.

Last year, the Backpack Program served 580 children, including 77 elementary students in the Saranac Lake Central School District, ensuring they had enough food for two breakfasts, two lunches and three snacks over the weekend.

One meal enjoyed can help provide meals for a child.

This week marks the start of another Summer Feeding Program, and we couldn't be more excited to get underway! ☀️🍎

Behind every meal served is an incredible team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of local children and families. Their hard work, compassion and commitment help ensure that every child who visits one of our meal sites is welcomed with a nutritious meal and a friendly smile.

This summer, our team will once again serve tens of thousands of meals across Northern Franklin County, helping ensure children continue to have access to healthy food while school is out.

To our amazing Summer Feeding Program team, thank you for the care, energy and heart you bring to this work each and every day. We are so grateful for all that you do.

Today, we celebrate the freedoms that unite us and the communities that make our country so special.

As we celebrate 250 years of our nation's history, we're reminded that some of the greatest acts of patriotism happen close to home. Neighbors helping neighbors. Volunteers giving their time. Communities coming together to ensure children are fed, families are supported and hope continues to grow.

At the Fieldstone Foundation, we are grateful to witness that spirit every day and to work alongside so many generous people who make our communities stronger.

The grills are fired up and the aroma of BBQ chicken is already filling the air! 🔥🍗

Jennifer is spending the morning at the St. Regis Falls Field Day, where volunteers have been hard at work since before sunrise preparing one of the North Country's favorite traditions.

The parade kicks off at 11 a.m., followed by the famous BBQ chicken dinner, plus great food, family fun and an evening fireworks show.

☀️🍎 The Countdown Is On! 🍎☀️

Summer is here, and we're just days away from launching another season of the Fieldstone Foundation's Summer Feeding Program!

While the first meals haven't been served just yet, the work to make it happen began months ago. From coordinating meal sites and schedules to ordering food, hiring staff, and planning deliveries, there's a tremendous amount happening behind the scenes before opening day.

This summer, we're proud to operate 10 community meal sites, providing more than 23,000 meals to children and families across the North Country.

We're incredibly grateful to our staff, volunteers, community partners, and supporters who make this program possible. Together, we're helping ensure children have access to nutritious meals all summer long.

We can't wait to get started! 💙

💙 Honoring the Hearts Behind the Backpack Program 💙

This week, we had the privilege of gathering with our Legacy Volunteer Team, the incredible individuals who helped build the Backpack Program from the ground up.

Long before the program grew to serve nearly 600 children, they were packing bags, giving their time, and making sure local children had food to carry them through the weekend.

Their compassion, dedication, and countless volunteer hours created a legacy that continues to impact children and families every single week.

To our Legacy Volunteer Team, thank you. The difference you've made in our community will be felt for generations to come. 💙
