81 years ago today, the first nuclear bomb was detonated at the Trinity Test Site.

The Trinity test was the first of over 2,000 nuclear weapons tests conducted by the nuclear armed states from 1945 to 2017, bringing intergenerational devastation to communities and the environment. IPPNW works to ensure justice for survivors and affected communities so no one else faces these harms.
