All these lovely girls and Justin went out for an interesting ride earlier today! Just to mix it up they threw in a couple of Warmbloods and they both did great! Christianne Lauria, Justin Nelzen, Brittany, Devon and Brittany Bromage!

Crystal and Party Boy

Crystal: Growing up in Houston, TX, I have always been captivated by horses. However, I did not grow up in a horse family and got very few chances to ride when I was younger. That all changed very quickly. As soon as I got the opportunity, I dove head first into the horse world and have not turned back! I have the pleasure of owning a sweet Arabian mare named Dory who has been one of my best teachers. I have only been riding about 5 years, starting off with Dressage lessons and moving on to Endurance riding, which has been an absolute joy ride!

Party Boy, the new kid on the block has quickly become a barn favorite because of his loving nature as eagerness to please. Party Boy is a 4 yr old 15.1H polish Arab from the track, we will be watching him closely as he already shows a love for endurance. A powerhouse in the making!! Besides...you know your a cool horse when your name is PARTY BOY!

Katie and Bella

Katie is a carnivore keeper at the Houston zoo. She has been riding since she was eight years old and has done a little bit of everything from western to dressage. She first heard about endurance while she lived in Arizona and knew when she moved to the great state of Texas that was her next challenge. Ever since her first ride with EquiPro, she has been hooked! She is looking forward to growing physically and mentally while riding. Bella is a 15.3h six year old Anglo-Arab who was on the back-burner until Katie came along. Katie fell in love with Bella and wanted to ride her for her first race. Katie believed Bella had the potential to be a good endurance horse. The time and effort put into Bella has transformed her into a strong and steady mare that we are very proud of. This duo are new to endurance, but we are excited to see what they can do!

Kyli and Chadrak

Kyli is the co-owner and trainer at Isi Seiyr School of Riding. She has been riding for 17 years, and has been an instructor and farrier for 8 years. Endurance has always been something she has wanted to try and in January 2013, she was hooked after her first 25 mile race! Kyli has been working hard, and has several new found goals in this sport now; she wants to compete at an FEI level and complete the Tevis Cup. Kyli will be riding Chadrak, an 8 year old, 15.1hh, off the track, Polish Arabian. He is such a reliable guy, who is always up for some competition. He is brave, knows his job, and always gets it done with no attitude.
