ayyyy my first post of 2024! figured 2 months in was about time. i meant to post something for valentine’s day but maybe i’ll manage that next year. haaa.
anyway, just wanted to jump on and make an actual post because life is good even though i’m awful at social media and i wanted to say hi. hope you are all having a beautiful sunday!! 🤍

✨it’s the most wonderful time of the year ✨

feels cliche to make this post but i am so truly grateful, and feeling extra so as we celebrated thanksgiving this week. counting my blessings big time going into this holiday season. hoping you all had an amazing time soaking up family, friends, and good food!!

and for those of you dealing with grief or other hardships this winter, i see you and i am keeping you in my prayers. 🤍

i dropped the ball on my annual “guess our costumes” contest this year, which is pretty much on par for how this year has gone 🤪 but if my kids agree to a family costume again next year (🙏🏻), i will definitely bring it back!

anyhow, this year they wanted to do a peter pan theme and i was HERE FOR IT!!!! jake always wins for being the best sport 😂 my kids were totally in their element in their costumes. and my favorite part of my costume was not having to wear my contacts. hahaha.

we had an awesome time trick or treating with our friends! hope you all had a wonderful, not-too-spooky, candy filled evening! until next year… tink, peter, wendy, smee and hook!

just over here enjoying the calm before the storm… currently in the few days of most-stuff-is-packed but still too early for pack-all-the-last-minute-things. so i’m not feeling super stressed right now, but check back in another couple days and i’m sure it will be a different story. haha.

ALSO, i’ve had a few of my lovely local clients ask, and yes, i do hope to come back once or twice a year offering mini sessions and full sessions like i’ve done in the past!! so while i won’t be offering utah mini sessions this fall, i hope that next fall i will be able to 😘

happiest of halloweens from our creepy family to yours!!! and in my opinion we nailed the creepy this year… natalie was living the dream acting like wednesday all evening lol. and just look at jackson’s face 😳🫠 except maddy. she always wins for cutest, even when you can’t see her face 😂

this wouldn’t have been my first theme choice honestly, but when the kids picked it and were super excited about it, we rolled with it! (also i might have made a poor decision and purchased the $3 can of black color hair spray instead of buying $30 wigs… we will see if it washes out, wish me luck 😅) (also also we were going to go full send have jake trim his beard to just have a mustache like gomez, but the kids adamantly hated this idea, so we decided to forgo the shave for our kids’ mental health haha.) all in all a super fun night with family and friends and food and of course, candy!!! what more could you ask for?!

i know i said it last year but this really might be the last time i convince my kids to do a family theme so i’ve got to take advantage!! super easy to play:

1. first person to guess our theme gets $20 to amazon 🙌🏻 (and if you already know, i’m sorry you’re disqualified, please don’t spoil it! 😘)
2. only one guess per person/handle
3. contest closes when someone gets it right or when i post a picture tomorrow!
