In areas where water collects and cannot be drained, such as bird baths and rain barrels, use mosquito dunks or something to move the water like a water wiggler or fountain. Avoid pesticides, as they are not effective long-term and they have been shown to kill beneficial insects and pollinators, despite claims to the contrary.

💨 Get ceiling fans ready for summer: Clear blades of dust and make sure they’re set to spin counterclockwise to keep your spaces cool.

🛝 Inspect outdoor play equipment: Tighten screws, bolts and other hardware according to manufacturer recommendations. Look to see if anything needs to be repaired or replaced.

🩹 Refresh and restock your first aid kit: Check that items are not expired and replenish any items that are out or running low.
