They were my rocks to lean on during the intense parts of labor and offered loving continuous support even after the birth. After experiencing the benefits of having a doula, I decided to finally pursue becoming a doula myself! I am a DONA trained doula, and have been deeply connected with the Madison birth community for almost a decade, and working with mothers to be, infants and children for almost 20 years! As a mother of three and a licensed Massage Therapist I feel I bring a dynamic energy of knowledge, experience and passion to my work. I approach the process of birth with compassion, gentleness and a strong desire to support your family in creating a safe and loving birth space that feels special to you. Wether you are planning a birth in the hospital or at home, a cesarean, VBAC or unmedicated, you can have an empowering birth. Understanding your choices, your preferences and your needs is integral to having an empowering birth experience. As your Doula, I am here to support you and help you advocate for your needs to be met during your labor, birth and postpartum. From our first prenatal visit until after you are settled in with your new baby, I will provide valuable resources, information and support while you navigate through the experience of birth and the new family dynamic. I offer birth & postpartum doula services, prenatal & postpartum massage, infant massage education, as well as herbal education and support. If you are a first time mom, or this is your fourth child each birthing experience is unique, and each time a mother deserves the support she needs. I look forward to sharing my passion for birth and motherhood with you!
