Is there anything tastier than fresh veggies? ✨🥒🌱

Did you know that the 4k Wrap program started a garden at Maywood? With the goal of providing snack for our Afterschool and summer camp programs, the MPR Go campers have taken over caring for it and have much to show for it!

For snack today, they harvested cucumbers that were grown from seeds in our garden. Looking forward to all of the other produce coming our way this summer!

Today’s adventure was full of smiles! Our campers enjoyed a visit to Sassy Cow Creamery for a tasty treat before heading to DeForest Fireman’s Park to play, explore, and soak up the beautiful weather. Days like these are what summer camp is all about! 💚🍦🌳
