Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

NewCare MD is seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our staff at our Madison, MS clinic. We are looking for a well-trained, energetic CCMA with a positive attitude, who works well as a part of a small clinical team, and whose primary focus is to provide the best possible patient experience to our member patients. Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:
* Engage patients by providing information, services, and assistance
* Conduct and verify patient information and record medical history
* Prepare patient for examination by conducting preliminary physical tests and assessment: taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature and reporting patient history summary to provider
* Assist physician and nurse providers with office procedures
* Maintains medical supplies inventory and performing preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.
* Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements.

Medical Assistant Qualifications/Skills:
* Organized, neat, and professional appearance
* Confident, positive attitude with exceptional bedside manner
* Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
* Organizational, supply and time management
* Customer focused and team player
* Confidentiality with patient and clinic information

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
* Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
* Bachelor or Associates degree preferred
* Work experience in clinic or other medical field environment
