BREAD IS BEING PUT IN THE BUILDING BECAUSE OF NEIGHBORHOOD CATS GETTING INTO IT.

REGARDING A COMMENT ON THE POST FROM EARLIER.....There were maybe a couple dozen of pieces of fruit that was bad. That is to be expected when we get shipments in. The good always outweighs the bad though. My husband and I have gone thru what's left. I will come back tomorrow and check again.

NOW.....TO THE OLDER ASAIN COUPLE THAT DECIDED TO THROW AROUND FOOD..... AGAIN.... PLEASE DO NOT COME BACK. WE WERE PULLING IN AS THEY WERE OUT. A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO THE YOUNGER COUPLE THAT WAS CLEANING UP THE MESS. WE APPRECIATE YOUR KINDNESS!!!

Hello friends! We are writing this post to reach out to you all to help us continue to help you! Our large box truck that we pick up food and bring to the warehouse is in desperate need of new tires. Many of you might not know, but we fund 99% of His Hands Ministry out of our own pockets. We don't have any big donors that contribute on a regular basis. These new tires are at a cost of $2000.00. This is a bigger cost than we can personally cover ourselves. This need has to be met as soon as possible so there is no disruption in our food pick up schedule. If you or anyone you know would like to contribute to this fund, please contact us. Any amount will help. All amounts will add up! I know some of you have tried to contact us during pantry hours. However, while we are inside the building working the pantry, we DO NOT get signals on our phones most of the times. Any questions, please try to contact us the Friday before pantry.

Also we've been asked what you need to bring. Absolutely nothing! However, this pantry, we will be asking as you enter what county you live in and how many people you are feeding.
NO names.
NO addresses.
NO phone numbers.
This is simply to help us write a grant to grow our ministry to help our community better!!

We've also been asked if people can serve our ministry to get community service hours they might need for whatever reason, school, made a boo boo etc! YES!!!! Either here at the pantry or at another location, we can help you get your hours!! And even if you don't need hours, ask and I CAN put you to work lol! 🤗😉

I really, really REALLY hate to be ugly about things but here I am. The first pic is how we set the larger tomatoes out. The 2nd pic... someone had a massive boredom attack and decided to remove all the tomatoes out of the bags and they were tossed everywhere. 3rd pic....how we set them out. 4th pic.... someone decided to open the plastic containers of cherry tomatoes and toss them everywhere. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!! Whoever did this is going to ruin our ability to help the whole community! My husband just stood up at the warehouse for THREE HOURS cleaning up what I can only assume is someone's idea of a fun time. If we find out who did this, they will be permanently banned from receiving any help from our ministry. If this continues we will have no choice but to limit our produce giveaways to the 3rd Saturday of the month only!!! PLEASE think of others and their needs and not only yourselves having fun at the expense of the community!!!
