The MP Leader Academy is a service where youth can participate in activities that give them not only access to positive adult role models, but leadership skills to enhance their future endeavors. Each youth will be offered competency development skills, such as, building their social skills, increasing their conflict resolution and anger management abilities, and introducing them to small business adventures. These skills are essential to developing youth leaders in our community and giving them “hope” for a brighter future. Making, marketing, and selling jewelry is just the “hook” to engage these adolescent girls so that they may be able to drive their independence and give them the skills to become leaders and young entrepreneurs in our community.
